Our role in halting COVID-19
focuses on four key areas
Health Literacy. Literacy is key to halting the virus. And it is our primary focus. We help fight misconceptions. And we do this by providing current facts that are easy to understand and digest. But we also take an extra step: Namely, we provide smart tools and resources to support them, too.
Government Lobbying. Accurate data and messages are key. And this is especially true when they come from government agencies. Since the beginning of the pandemic, we have lobbied both federal and state agencies. And this has been both to adopt key messages and to improve data reporting. Thus, we have successfully lobbied states to change the data reporting and more.
Studies and Data Collection. A key method to form accurate messages is to collect and study information. In fact, we launched our first efforts in December, 2019, before many had heard of the virus. And in 2020, we conducted mask surveys that accurately predicted vaccine trends. And we continue this today.
Future Work. Vaccinations is key to halting the virus. We support it with a powerful tools and information. Going forward, we will put a spotlight on the need for long-term research. And one of our key goals is to prevent the next pandemic. More, understating “long Covid” and other ailments is necessary, too.
