Programs aim to Change

City scape sketch

Our surveys show that not everyone is following key steps to halt the coronavirus (COVID-19). Our programs aim to change that.

In January, 2020 we began conducting surveys on masks. We have continued this work.

In February, 2020 we began handing out masks. We also provided literature on the history of the SARS virus (today, COVID-19).

In March, 2020 we met with isolated communities to discuss key strategies to reduce it.

There are broad efforts to halt the virus.

But our work shows there is more to be done. Ours works finds a higher increase of new cases in areas with low mask compliance.

We have created on the ground campaigns and strategies to address this. But they are not fully implemented. Our programs aim to change behavior. And remind everyone of the key steps.

We also continue to identify new data sources to pinpoint target areas.

There are several key steps to take to reduce the spread of the virus. They are social distancing, wearing a mask, hand washing and to avoid touching of the face.

Wear a mask.  Wearing a mask will protect us from the virus.  It will also protect others if we have the virus.
