Genome sequencing has become a powerful tool in science, including in the worldwide effort to combat the Covid-19 pandemic.

Since early in the pandemic, the World Health Organization (WHO) has been producing a regular series of educational videos about the virus, known as Science in 5.

In the past, we have posted a number of relevant videos from this series. And here is another one.

The video looks at genome sequencing today, including how it helps to track disease. More, it looks at what trends are being seen now worldwide.
