Now 93% of new cases of COVID-19 are caused by the delta variant, according to the latest data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
This is a large jump of new cases for this variant in just two weeks. And it was only a month ago that it was the cause of half of new cases.

Specifically we underscored the need to get the second COVID-19 vaccination as soon as possible.
And that is due to a powerful virus variant. It is known as the Delta variant. And it is now 93% of new cases. More, early data indicates that a single vaccine dose limits protection. And a second dose offers much more protection. Therefore, getting both doses is key. So please do not wait.
Many received the first shot of a two-part vaccination. But they have delayed getting the second one. But this is an urgent public health matter.

Another alternative is to schedule online via a nationally linked portal. It is found at Vaccines.gov.
