Our Future Plan to tackle Key Infections

In the future, we will be developing multiple platforms to support health literacy. But our current focus until the end of 2021 is only on COVID-19. But after that, we will support other issues, too. Let’s look at one of those future efforts here.

Over time some bacteria have developed a resistance to the medicines used to treat them.  In fact, some bacterial infections have become so resistant they cannot be treated. And this is a growing public health crisis.

More, they are often referred to as hospital or health-setting infections or “HAIs” for short.

The Internet is a powerful tool.  And one of our top priorities is to use this tool to help foster health literacy about these infections.

Today these tough infections are being spread outside of health settings.  And they infect thousands each year.

Some infections are so resistant, that medicine no longer works.   More, these variants are often known as “superbugs”.

And they are responsible for many deaths and injuries. In the past, these infections were isolated to health facilities. But today, the source of the infections has many roots.

Our efforts will target those impacted by the infections.  And our efforts will also underscore new innovations to reduce the spread of the infections.

More, one such new tool is Molecular Cultures. And they are a powerful new tool in this fight.  Thus, westrongly support this important tool.

COVID-19: Masks are Key

We began handing out masks as a health message even before the first COVID-19 case was detected in the United States. And we believe that it is a key preventative strategy.

Separately, there are preventative steps that we all can take to reduce the spread of the virus. Namely, they are social distancing, wearing a mask, hand washing and to avoid touching of the face. Moreover, masks are especially key and here are out key messages:

Masks Telegraph a Key Health Message

A mask is a health message. Wearing one telegraphs an important health message.

A mask reminds the person wearing it that the virus is serious.  It also reminds others of the same message, too. Please set a positive example for others. Wear a mask.

Masks Protect the Person Wearing the Mask

Masks help protect us from the virus.  This is key.

Masks Protect Others, too

Masks also protect others if we have the virus. It can be days before symptoms appear. Yet, you could still spread it. Also, some people carry the virus but never experience symptoms themselves.

Please wear a mask. And encourage others, too.
