Vaccines Now Available for Young Children

After getting the necessary approvals this past week, vaccines will be available beginning today for young children 6 months and older.

Last week, the FDA approved both the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines. And the CDC has also endorsed their use. The move has been anticipated for some time.

On November 2, 2021, approval was granted for children as young as 5 years old.

Covid-19 is a vaccine-preventable disease. And now everyone 6 months and older in the United States is eligible for it. Vaccines are safe. And they are effective.
